The PGM series high-speed hydraulic pipe end-face beveling machine is a dedicated machine tool for fast, high-volume machining of pipe end bevels. The machining time for a single bevel is typically just a few seconds to a dozen seconds, and both pipe clamping and power-head travel are hydraulically controlled.
This beveling machine mainly consists of the bed, an axially moving spindle headstock, a rotary cutter disc and tools, upper and lower clamping devices, an electrical control cabinet, and a hydraulic system.
During machining, the spindle headstock is driven by the hydraulic power unit to move axially forward and backward to achieve the required axial feed of the cutter disc. Combined with the high-speed rotation of the cutter disc and tools, it performs bevel turning. The cutter disc’s high-speed rotation is driven by a variable-frequency motor to provide cutting power.
