SWM Series Internal/External Longitudinal & Circumferential Seam Submerged Arc Automatic Welding Machine

Product Overview

Solve your business pain points with innovative technical solutions

       The SWM series internal/external submerged arc longitudinal & circumferential seam automatic welding machine is mainly used for automatic welding of internal longitudinal seams, external longitudinal seams, and butt circumferential seams of pipelines and pressure vessel shells. The equipment consists of a cross-type cantilever welding machine, a driven welding rotator, a micro submerged arc welding head and SAW power source, a vision system, etc. Equipped with a micro SAW welding head, it can extend into the inside of pipes and vessels with a minimum inner diameter of Φ300 to perform internal longitudinal or circumferential seam welding. The welding formation on the inside can then be viewed on the operation panel via the vision system, offering extremely high operating convenience and welding stability.

Welding Quality

Strict process standards ensure the reliability of every weld

  • Passed inspection: Good welding quality; the weld seam passes RT/UT inspection;
  • Mechanical properties: Meets requirements for pressure testing or mechanical property tests such as impact, tensile, and bending;
  • Good appearance: Beautiful weld formation, with no defects such as porosity, undercut, cracks, slag inclusions, incomplete penetration, or lack of fusion.
