The PPDW series modular automatic pipe welding machine is mainly used for automated prefabrication welding of pipelines across various industries. It consists of multiple drive units combined with a mobile cantilever welding machine. Different drive units can be centrally linked and controlled via the welding centralized control system, or independently controlled using a handheld remote control box. When one drive unit is used together with the cantilever welding machine for automatic welding, the other drive units can be used for pipe loading/unloading and clamping, or as rotary fixtures for manual grinding and manual welding. By working in coordination between the cantilever welding unit and different drive units, continuous and uninterrupted automatic welding is achieved, greatly improving equipment utilization. In addition, different configuration combinations can meet not only pressure pipeline welding needs but also pressure vessel welding requirements.
