CNOOC’s Three Business Segments See Progress: Faster Development with the Panyu Project Coming on Stream, etc.
On July 2, all 15 development wells of CNOOC Limited Shenzhen Branch’s Panyu 10/11 Block Joint Development Project were brought into production, and all exceeded the designed output. Launched in January, the project includes two intelligent unmanned platforms with no fixed on-site personnel on duty—firsts in China—and innovates multiple “smart drilling” technologies. With a construction period of 408.77 days and a 13.76% efficiency improvement, it supports the branch in sprinting toward its annual targets. In the first half of this year, the branch practiced “fewer wells, higher production,” achieving “half the time, more than half the task,” with drilling cycle and costs reaching the best level for the same period, and oil and gas output exceeding plan.
On June 24, the Gas & Power Group, leveraging the “Tianshu Cloud” platform, achieved automatic real-time synchronization of logistics data between CNOOC and Beijing Gas, improving business collaboration efficiency by 70%. In the future, it will promote more cross-entity collaboration and the circulation of data elements.
On June 19, CNOOC Refining & Chemical Petrochemical Engineering participated in Shandong Province’s “unveiling the list to take the lead” project, joining multiple parties to build a large-model system for the petrochemical industry. It will use intelligence to address issues such as industry design and equipment management, helping integrate “AI + industry.”
