This PPCW-series large-diameter chuck-type automatic welding machine is mainly used for automatic welding of large-diameter pipelines and pressure vessels in various industries. It uses a large-diameter chuck main unit to clamp the end of the workpiece for driven rotation, while the cantilever welding unit travels to each seam position for welding. One-time clamping enables automatic welding of weld seams at different positions on the shell, realizing fillet welds of shell + flange, and groove circumferential welds such as shell + head and shell extension joints. In addition, after adding components such as a precision heavy-duty rail track and a fore-and-aft axis oscillation mechanism to the cantilever welding unit, longitudinal seam welding of the workpiece can be achieved through the travel of the cantilever welding unit.
